MindYaBlox is a puzzle game that blows your mind with blox patterns.
Choose where to apply the swap moves and hit a maximum number of levels, being the fastest!
The game (last version is 1.2.2, released 09.13.2006)
How to play
Two grids filled with blox: some are lighter, some are darker.
You just have to make the big grid look like the small one using some swap moves given to you by the MYB robot... Sounds simple? Huh... Probably true when you have only one swap move to apply but imagine yourself anticipating more than two swap moves to find the pattern, really more difficult.
Go on and see the in-game help for a demo!

What do you need to run it?
You will need java to run it. No matter what
operating system you have as long as you have java installed on it. Double click on the mindyablox.jar file from the archive, that will launch the game. MacOSX users are luckier, they have a special MacOSX distribution as we are mac addicts. You can also launch the game directly from this site using WebStart. This solution allows you to always play the latest MindYaBlox version. WebStart is multiplatform, this works well with MacOS X, Linux or Windows.
World scores
No need to be connected during the whole game session, you just have to be connected to the internet when at the game over screen! Use aplhanumeric keys to type your name. Once your name is typed, check or not the internet save radio button and press enter, this will store your score locally and, if connected and desired, send your score to the 'world scores' page.
Note for MacOS X users who have strange graphic bugs:
This seems to be due to the Java 1.3.1 and 1.4.2 release 2 MacOsX update. The game worked well with the previous 1.4.2 java version installed in Tiger. No matter, there's a way to play with a nice looking game: download the 1.5 java version at apple site. Then install it. Once you've installed it, go to /Applications/Utilities/J2SE 5.0/ and launch Java Preferences. In the General tab, choose the J2SE 1.5 in the Use version: combobox. Then drag the J2SE 1.5 as the preferred jvm to use in the Java Application Runtime Settings. Now launch another time your MindYaBlox WebStart application, this now uses the Java 1.5 version, without alpha graphic bugs...
